Relaxing Avocado Bath

Oh lovely avocado oil comes from the avocado fruit. It really is a hidden beauty treasure and can be added to skincare products to increase the skin health benefits. Not only do I love integrating it into body butters and balms, I use it myself when I give myself a scalp massage.

Avocado oil contains potassium and lecithin, both are intensely beneficial for the hair and skin. When applied topically, avocado oil relieves itchy, dry skin. Because it is easily absorbed in the skin, it is a superior skin care agent and moisturizer. When unscented and completely natural, avocado oil can be useful for skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. In the winter my skin is super dry and I keep my winter soft and buttery smooth by taking avocado oil baths. Here’s the deets. Feel free to experiment with different essential oils.

You’ll need 10 ounces of heated avocado oil. Heat the avocado oil on medium until warm ( around five minutes). When the pan of oil is warm, add 10 drops of lavender essential oil, 10 drops of chamomile oil and 4 drops of ylang ylang oil. Sit and chill. Aaaaaahhhhhhhh..super easy.
